It’s hotting up in the Betfred Championship and here’s what to expect in Round 15!
Widnes are back in action at the DCBL Stadium on Saturday but have a tough test on their hands when they welcome league leaders Toulouse.
The French side have hit hot form at exactly the right time as they seek a nine successive win.
Interestingly, the Vikings are one of just two sides who have managed to beat Sylvain Houles’ men in 2025, and are the only team to have done so in the south of France – they beat Toulouse back in the opening round, 14-18.
On the road however, Toulouse have won their last three away meetings with Widnes. The Vikings' last home victory against Olympique was a 26-12 Championship win in April 2011.
Allan Coleman’s men are looking to return to winning ways, after a disappointing defeat in Round 14. They allowed an 18-0 lead to slide against York last week.
Widnes will also want to create further distance between themselves and the feared bottom four.
Meanwhile, it’s going to be a cracker when Barrow host Bradford. Their last two meetings have proven to be pulsating contests – and it was the Raiders who claimed the spoils back in Round 4 this year (8-18).
Barrow also fought back in late 2024 to snatch a 24-24 draw against the Bulls. How will they fare at the Northern Competitions Stadium?
Then, there’s another standout tie and a 2025 AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final rematch, as York welcome Featherstone to the LNER Community Stadium.
It’s been less than a month since the two sides walked out at Wembley and a Liam Harris drop goal sealed York’s first ever win at the National Stadium.
In the league, they have already met once this year – with Fev forging a comeback and clinching a 24-22 victory. Can we expect another brutal battle between these two Championship heavyweights?
Elsewhere, it’s 4th v 6th when Oldham travel to The Shay and take on Halifax.
The Roughyeds are still chasing down the top sides in the table, while Halifax are desperate for a victory in order to maintain a Play-Off spot.
Sean Long’s men are aiming for a league double over the Panthers in 2025 – they met in Round 11 and ran out 34-10 victors.
Focus then turns to the bottom four and there's a clash between two teams who are hoping to climb out of the danger zone.
Batley and Sheffield meet in Round 15, but who will come away with the crucial points?
Action also returns to the capital when London Broncos face Hunslet.
